^Hello,
The day before yesterday I invited for the dinner a friend of mine who sometimes asserts some comments on this website.
We saw on DVD a Columbia Film of 1966 the Silencers with the late Dean Martin in the role of super Secret Agent Matt Helm.
This was a funny film as a Parody of James Bond Series.
Cyd Charisse, Martin Partner, was wonderful when she danced and Dino sang during the movie some great classics as
South of the Border,Red sails on the Sunset,Empty Saddles in the old Coral,Side By side---
At cocktail time I decided to open a bottle of Rose Chinon I was sent by the Syndicat des Vins de Chinon.
A CHINON ROSE CUVEE LUNE ROUSSE 2006,The proprietaire being Mr Frederic Hardouin.
A good wine as we felt some aromas of raspberry, vanilla and quinces---a lovely colour salmon
Made of Cabernet Franc this wine lived 50% in woods and 50% in vats.
This wine in mouth is really interesting but could be maybe better in 2 years.
Really a good potential.
A regreat nevertheless concerning the Label of the bottle, and my friend shared my opinion.
It could be improved and not look like simple wines of supermarkets.
But we are sure the default will disappear as soon as possible.
However what did I do with the second bottle shipped by the Syndicat?
I used it in my Terrine of Foie Gras that I had prepared for my friend..
THE RECIPE IS SECRETE but IT WAS TASTY WITH THIS CHINON ROSE.
For more information concerning this wine Rendez-vous on my page links and click on:

We'll try another day with another film ,another dinner and maybe the Tasting of a Graves De vayres or some other confidential wine.
